Founders Walter Catton and Mark Fellwock approached TIG in need of an identity and mark for their distillery. Walter and Mark told TIG, “We are grain-to-glass craft-spirit makers using locally grown ingredients in our process.”
TIG resonated with the Coppercraft name because it has a timeless, established quality that reflects the contents of barrel and bottle. We felt it honored the client’s philosophy of “soul craft.” The letters are illustrated to look handcrafted, the grain paddle and sheaf form a mark of excellence. The hand-drawn mark looks as if it has been aged—which lent credibility to a new establishment already quickly asserting itself as a regional presence.
