Mark started The Image Group in 1985, planning on it being a one-man venture, but when he discovered it was more fulfilling to hear good things about people he hired than it was to hear good things about himself, the company grew into what it is today. Mark has an immense attention to communication detail. He takes great interest in how cultures communicate within themselves and with each other. That’s why he needs a companion when he’s in Guatemala — he’s too busy experiencing the culture to have time to find his own way around. The way other cultures communicate fascinates Mark to the extent that he struggles with the No Pictures
instructions in the London Tube. Why don’t they just let him document it?
